 so...what's it all about?

No Lights No Lycra 5 Venues - host and run 5 venues for our local community focused dancing in the dark sessions in the SE Queensland suburbs of Morayfield (Caboolture), North Lakes (Mango Hill), North Brisbane (Brighton),

Samford (newly opened) and Brisbane (West End).

No Lights No Lycra was started in Melbourne in 2009 by 2 dance students who wanted to step out of the normal arena of structured dancing including industry required dancewear. They wanted everyone to have the chance to dance like

no-one was watching. The aim is freedom, inhibition, inclusion, health, fun and exercise through dance. There are now around 70 dance sessions being held each week globally.

Alice Glenn our NLNL Founder and CEO is still passionate about everyone having the option to experience dancing in the dark.

Teena Andrews is Host/Ambassador for NLNL Morayfield to Brisbane - 5 venues and is just as passionate to share this wonderful and fun experience with as many as possible.

NLNL promotes positive physical and mental health and wellbeing though dance. There is no judgement, no routines, no instructors, no lights and you can wear whatever you are comfortable dancing/exercising in (the no lycra bit). The unique sessions are designed to help you let go of concerns and express yourself, for yourself, through movement. We provide a safe space to dance, exercise and enjoy the 1 hour non-stop music...

Because you can and because it's FUN!
